Dhufstetler 01/25/24 Customer states toilets were bubbling when shower was used. Home is on septic. Home is one and a half bath. Tested shower and toilets. After multiple flushes, toilets stopped flushing. Accessed crawlspace to check for a cleanout, no cleanout in crawlspace. Both toilets are the closest fixtures to septic tank and would be the first fixtures affected by a full tank. After checking crawlspace, hall bathroom toilet flushed successfully one time and started backing up again, indicating water is draining from the septic tank field lines. Symptoms indicate septic tank is full and needs to be inspected and possibly pumped before further plumbing issues can be diagnosed. JOB NOT COMPLETE ESTIMATES NEED REVIEW
CUSTOMER STATED:hall bathroom lav not draining TECHNICIAN NOTES: tested hall bathroom wall hung lav and found it stopped draining after about a minute. Choice covered to clear sink stoppage. Attempted to clear sink stoppage through lav but found after a few minutes of running that the cable was jumping a cross and coming into the other lav in this bathroom and broke the ptrap. Replaced the ptrap but found a crack in the polished brass pop up assembly from the cable as well. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: need to replace polished brass pop up assembly. Part link in notes. And then cut a hole in wall of stairs leading to basement to replace the drain system to both lavs to resolve issue. CUSTOMER STATED : Water backing up into tub, thinks it is the same issue they were having back in March when we came out to repair. TECHNICIAN NOTES : Out to the residence today of the concern of the trailer unit backing up from both bathrooms. Unit is on a septic system that has no been pumped in a while. have recommended to have the septic system pumped before charging the customer. RESOLUTION : No repairs made today. CUSTOMER STATED: We have 3 faucets dripping. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Out today for the concern of 3 delta bathroom faucets dripping. Right side sink in master bathroom has defective hot water side cartridge, Jack and Jill bathroom sink on the right have a defective hot side cartridge, and the left side sink for the jack and Jill bathroom has a defective hot and cold side cartridge. We will need to replace 4 total cartridges with new seats and springs to avoid a recall. While on site I have found the existing hot water system is missing a thermal expansion tank and I have recommended to the homeowner to install one.
